What is the most awesome, amazing or unique car you or someone in your family has owned? Please include SR20 if possible.
My dad's first car was a terrible yellow TR3. He got it when he lived in Palos Verdes (by the beach in So Cal) and every morning would need to roll it down the hill to jump start it. If it didn't start, he needed to tow it back up with his dad's Pontiac. The pretty sad part is a few years ago, I calculated out how old the car had to have been at that time. Turns out it could only have been 8 years old at the most! Jeeeezzzzz

My uncle had a 1988 Opel Kadett GSi back in the early 90's.
He drove all the way from Yugoslavia to germany with my granddad to buy it. He then modified it to the best of his ability. According to the shop that did his work, it was pushing about 185-190hp to the front wheels in 1992! It came stock with about 150hp. Top speed? according to my uncle, he hit 250kph one night in it
No SR20 of the actual car, since it was wrapped around a tree during a snowstorm at 65 mph, but it looked just like this one:

No SR20 because I'm at school 100 miles away, but my parents' have had some awesome cars over the years:
'71 Camaro -> '76 Camaro -> MG Midget of unknown (to me) vintage -> '77 Corvette -> 1986 Z/28. Of course me and my twin were born in 1993 and out came the Pontiac TransPort, then Chevy Astro and Honda Pilot. I know they road-tripped the Midget to Florida several times from Indianapolis, and kept it quite a while. Maybe that's why I have such a thing for small British sports cars.

Most unique would probably be my dad's late 80's VW Fox. It was his first car here in Canada, i assume he bought it because it was very similar to the VW's he had in Brazil. (Most recent one he had there was a VW Saveiro (A small pick-up based off of the VW Gol.) He left it in the back yard after he "retired" it, promised he would work on it, but never did, he decided to scrap it after it wouldn't start. (surprisingly the battery had plenty of charge, so no boost was needed) The most recent time I saw one, was about 8 years ago now in poor shape. likely all of them got turned into scrap.
(his was not the one pictured)
I still feel his 1994 Mazda MX-6 would also be something worth posting about, this was his next car, they're uncommon nowadays. he loved it, but hated it in the winter.

When my mom first came here in the 70's, she owned a 69' red Camaro which was clean af, but radio was stolen almost all the time.
Sorry no Sr20.

1979 MGB
They're not bad if you take the time to learn about them and the little quirks. And if you can work on one you will be pretty competent with most British Leyland marques. They get all sorts of attention everywhere you go and it seems like everyone over the age of fifty stops to tell you a story about one they owned or a friend/family member did.

My father's HQ Monaro that stared off life as a L6 202 (3.3 L). Had a transplant to a V8 253 (4.1 L), a second transplant to a V8 308 in3 (5.0 L), then back again to a 253.
Not a pic of his because it's in one of the albums at my gran's place.

Yeah it is! :D
The VN in there are the initials to my last names (yeah, I got 2 of them, thank you Slavic parents!)
so basically, I use my real name here!

Jeez, mine just made up for the missing middle name by dumping enough letters into the last name.

My Grandad had a Riley Kestrel back in the day, which is a pretty damn cool car.
My mum's second car was an Alfetta GTV 2000, which was cool as well.
Then my dad's had some pretty excellent cars over the years as well. He's had an Alfa 1750 GTV, a Lancia Flavia 2000, a Lancia Gamma coupe, a Maserati 425, a Triumph Spitfire (his first car, bought for him after it rolled, fixed up and driven), a Porsche 914, an Alfasud (which I was taken back from the hospital in when I was born) his Maserati 228 (one of 16 in RHD), his Porsche 914/6 and now his Grandad's MG TC.
Not sure which is coolest :)

My uncle has a 67 Cuda (I think that's the year?) It's waiting to be restored and he's owned it since new. I had another uncle own a Boss 302, and another who had a Plymouth Satellite, and another who owned a 240z, but those were all before my time. The coolest car my father ever owned was a 1939 Cadillac.

It's a toss-up between the Aston Martin Lagonda my uncle used to own, and the Ferrari 250 GT/E he still has. Between him and my dad they've had some pretty Jalop daily drivers over the years and various classics including a couple or three seventies Maserati supercars, but the Aston and the 250 are definite stand-outs.
But number one on the list is far and away the most interesting. Technically it wasn't actually owned by my dad, but he had it for a few weeks as a loaner from his mechanic - when it was already at least twenty years old, and had about 20k miles on the clock.
It's a metallic mint-green Austin Maestro. The top-of-the-range one with the talking dashboard and digital instruments. Honestly, I'm not joking. It's hard to overstate how awesomely rubbish that car was, or to explain the way a concours-condition Maestro attracted more attention than a row of new Ferraris, but it seemed to have some kind of superpower.

My dad learned how to drive on a 1954 international r 100 with a 3 on the tree. The first car he owned was a 1978 Toyota Tercel 4wd. His first Porsche was a 1991 wide body he had before I was born, then he later bought a 2004 911-4 cabriolet. Now he drives an NG 2011 9-5. Also my mother drove an AMC gremlin her dad's dealership had for a while. Now she drives a Saab 9-4x, one of 453
